Itinerary
  • Introduction
  • Day 01- Airport - Kandy
    Arrive by flight and you will be transferred to the arrival terminal. Please clear immigration & visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you do not have goods to be declared to customs. You will meet one of the Representatives of Apple Vacations will assist you as he will be having a paging board with your name in the meeting area, and he will introduce you to your own English speaking chauffeur guide who will transfer you to the hotel in Dambulla/Habarana. (Pick up at airport or Colombo City)

    En route to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.  Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. 

    Next visit Herbal garden at Mawanella. You will get the chance of seeing how spices & herbs like Turmeric/Pepper cones/Cloves/Cardamom/ Nutmeg/Vanilla/ Cinnamon/Cocoa/Aloe Vera, etc.

    By Evening enjoy with Traditional Dancing (Kandy cultural dance show).

  • Day 02 -Kandy
    After having delicious breakfast, start Journey to Kandy the last kingdom of Sri Lanka.

    In first visit to Peradeniya Botanical Garden also had known as Royal Botanical Garden. The gardens are set in a loop in the Mahaweli River on about 150 acres of land. This garden is full of Lovely Orchid house, Royal Palm Avenue, Suspension Bridge, Sri Lankan shaped pond, The Great lawn, the rows of trees planted by visiting dignitaries over the years, the fruit bats & the macaque monkeys and many more.

    Kandy is the hill capital Venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism’s influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple’s shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.

    Next Visit to Temple of the sacred tooth relic

    The golden-roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth houses Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist relic – a tooth of the Buddha. During puja(offerings or prayers), the heavily guarded room housing the tooth is open to devotees and tourists. However, you don’t actually see the tooth. It’s kept in a gold casket shaped like a dagoba (stupa), which contains a series of six dagoba caskets of diminishing size. As well as the revered main temple, the complex includes a series of smaller temples, shrines and museums.

  • Day 03 – Kandy – Nuwaraeliya
    After the Breakfast at the hotel Journey head on to Greenery highland City name Called Nuwara Eliya (Little England)

    En route if you do shopping, Kandy is one of the best places for Gems, Handicrafts and Silk / souvenirs,

    Next Ramboda falls - There are many places to have a great bath on the way to reach to the fall. The falls are huge and offer a spectacular view. There is a view point just next to the falls which offers a stunning view.  Make your way through the maze of tea bushes and discover where the elixirs of Sri Lanka come from. There are many tea plantations and tea factories that will be more than happy to show you around, and explain the tea plucking and tea-making processes as well as let you try some of their freshly brewed tea! A truly Sri Lankan experience. 

    Nuwara Eliya is the main hill resort in Sri Lanka and the heart of the tea industry. Explore British colonial city with 18 holes (pass by) Golf course/ Horse course/ Beautiful Park/ Gregory’s lake & nice landscaping.

  • Day 04 – Nuwaraeliya (Little England)
    After the Breakfast at the hotel Journey head on to Greenery highland City name Called Nuwara Eliya (Little England) Horton Plains National Park is a kind of wonderful experience and a wonderful hike. The best time to explore is early in the morning. The Horton Plains National Park is one of the most beautiful and well reserved national parks in Sri Lanka. St. Clair waterfalls located at St. Clair estate of Thalawakele. You could see this beautiful waterfall even if you are travelling by a vehicle. This waterfall is sounded by full of green nature, grassland and trees and tea estate.

    In the evening you can walk “Single Tree Mountain” At this vantage point one could enjoy the panoramic view of Pidurutalagala Mountain range, Haggala Mountain, Lake Gregory, and the entire town of Nuwara Eliya as well as Northern section of Horton Plains.

  • Day 05 – Nuwaraeliya – Kithulgala - Colombo
    Breakfast at the hotel you drive to Kithulgala.

    En route to St. Clairs falls, this is one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and is commonly known as the "Little Niagara of Sri Lanka".  St. Clair waterfalls located at St. Clair estate of Thalawakele. You could see this beautiful waterfall even if you are travelling by a vehicle. This waterfall is sounded by full of green nature, grassland and trees and tea estate. Next you visit “Devon falls” .Just stopped for few minutes while passing by on our way to Nuwara Eliya, there is a small path to decent down to reach to the bottom of the waterfall, calls “Devon”. It would be stunning on rainy days.

    Next you visit at Kitulgala. The main attraction of Kitulgala is White water rafting where you can ride the tides of Kelani River. Other than that it is popular for sports like confidence jump, Stream Sliding, Waterfall abseiling, Jungle trekking. Bird watching and cave exploration and last but not least river trips and expeditions.

  • Day 06 – Colombo – Airport
    After the breakfast at the hotel & transfer to Colombo and proceed with a city tour. (Please get advice, if you need to drop other than Colombo city).
