  • Day 01 - Airport - Colombo
    Arrive by flight and you will be transferred to the arrival terminal. Please clear immigration & visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you do not have goods to be declared to customs. You will meet one of the Representatives of Apple Vacations will assist you as he will be having a paging board with your name in the meeting area, and he will introduce you to your own English speaking chauffeur guide who will transfer you to the hotel in Colombo. (Pick up at airport or Colombo City)

  • Day 02 - Colombo - Sigiriya
    After the Breakfast to transfer To Sigiriya hotel

    After you arrival to Sigiriya Hotel a lovely property located near the former capital of Sri Lanka, Sigiriya, in the center of the Cultural Triangle.   • Day 03 - Sigiriya - Anuradhapura - Sigiriya
    After the Breakfast to transfer To Mihintale Temple.

    Visit Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It is now a pilgrimage site, and the site of several religious monuments and abandoned structures.

  • Day 04 - Sigiriya - Minneriya National Park
    Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel. And visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress:

    Sigiriya Called by many names including “The Lion Rock” for its initial name of “Sinhagiri”, Sigiriya is near the town of Dambulla and is a colossal column of rock nearly 200m high. It was a royal citadel for 18 years (477-495) when it was fortified by King Kasyapa. The architectural and irrigational technologies of Sigiriya, such as the Water Gardens, still baffle engineers. The climb up steep steps of metal with railings passes a wall decorated with frescoes of bare-breasted women. Art experts consider them unique.

    And next visit to Evening Safari at Minneriya National Park.

    One of the main reasons for visiting the beautiful country of Sri Lanka was to see the Sri Lankan elephant in the wild. Kaudulla/Minneriya National Park is one of best national parks to spot Elephants in Sri Lanka. It is home to 200+ elephants, monkeys, crocodiles and even a handful of leopards. The Gathering around the water reservoir takes place in the dry season from July to October. Besides from elephants, there is so much more to see. Peacocks, small black bears, crocodiles, deer, many monkeys and beautifully colored birds.Return to the hotel and relax.

  • Day 05 - Sigiriya - Kandy
    After breakfast at the hotel visit Kandy

    En-route visits the Dambulla Cave Temple. The Dambulla Cave Temple was built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a World Heritage Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 meters.

    Kandyan Dance

    You may take in the magnificent playing of traditional musical instruments, firework displays, and traditional dancing from Sri Lanka.

  • Day 06 - Kandy 2nd Day
    After breakfast at the hotel visit Botanical Garden,

    Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya go for a stroll in the 147-acre grounds. See over 4,000 different species of plants, including an exclusive collection of orchids, spices, and medicinal plants. Learn the history of the 19th-century gardens, and see famous plants such as the cannonball tree, giant fig tree, and 40-meter tall Burma bamboo.

    Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha’s Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess’ hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout.

  • Day 07 - Kandy - Nuwaraeliya - Hatton
    After breakfast at the hotel visit Hatton

    Step by step guide to tea manufacture process -Tea estate visits and guided tour to an award winning, functioning tea factory which is one of the largest producer of Ceylon tea -Tea tasting sessions -Modern manufacturing procedures -Factory fresh tea shop and cafe Ramboda Falls: En route to Nuwara Eliya, make a stop at Ramboda Falls, a picturesque waterfall cascading down a lush hillside. Then Visit the Hanuman Temple, which is associated with the Hindu epic Ramayana. The temple offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

  • Day 08 - Hatton - Negambo
    After the breakfast at hotel, transfer to Negambo.

    While travel to Negambo, (on the way) enjoy the Tea Trails is a most beautiful part of Sri Lanka.

  • Day 09 - Negambo - Airport
    After breakfast, transfer to Airport to connect with the departure flight. (Please get advice, if you need to drop other than Colombo city)
