The Singapore Night Safari starts when you are picked up from your hotel in Singapore by an air-conditioned coach or Car to Singapore Zoo. An English-speaking Driver will accompany you on the tour. Depending on the traffic conditions, the drive to the Singapore Night Safari will take approx. 45-55 minutes from your Hotel. The highly popular Singapore Night Safari is the world’s first ‘night zoo’ experience and has scooped a number of coveted tourism awards. When you arrive at the venue, you don’t have to wait in line for a tram for the safari, as you enjoy access to priority boarding with this tour. The tram is open-sided, allowing you unimpeded views of the animals. An expert English-speaking guide from the zoo will present on the tram and will point out the stunning creatures you can see on the route. In the complete safety and comfort of the tram, you will travel through the East and West Loop of the Night Safari, passing a large reservoir and weaving through habitats designed to replicate natural environments from the Himalayan foothills to the South-East Asian rainforest and Indian subcontinent. The varied terrain of the park covers 40 hectares and is home to over 1000 animals of more than 110 species. Subtle lighting techniques allow you to see what is happening in the jungle at night without causing disturbance to the inhabitants. At the end of the Night Safari, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Singapore. You could also choose to stay longer at the Night Safari if you wish. In that case you should inform your guide and you will be responsible for making your own way back to your hotel.
